Linked Suites

Purpose

The Linked Suites form is used to maintain the association of each Linked Suite Pilot number to the current Member Suites. Provisioning of Linked Suites can be performed through Property Management System (PMS) or system programming in the System Administration Tool; however, only one method should be used to manage all Linked Suites at the same site.

NOTE: We recommended you use PMS when managing Linked Suites because PMS provides a clear interface to Linked Suites information.

Conditions

You must program this form on the Hospitality Gateway ICP when Clustered Hospitality is enabled.
There is a limit to the number of ONS ports on a single AX or ASU II card that can belong to a specific suite or ring group. When you connect ONS ports that will be configured as part of a common suite or ring group, spread the ports across multiple cards, with a maximum of three ports on any one card.
To delete a Linked suite, you must first delete its members.

Linked Suite Pilot Number	Enter the Linked Suite Pilot number for the Linked Suite you want to create or edit. You can change or delete Linked Suite Pilot Numbers from the PMS.	Blank
Name	System-generated, protected field. Indicates the name corresponding to the Linked Suite Pilot number, as entered in the Telephone Directory form.	Blank
Comments	Enter some meaningful text to describe the Linked Suite Pilot number.	Blank
Enable Shared Telephone Service	Select "Yes" or "No" to enable or disable shared telephone service (STS). Shared telephone service can be set to "Yes" when four or less Member Suites are configured. Shared telephone service may only be changed when all Member Suites are not checked in. NOTE: STS-enabled Linked Suites in a hospitality cluster can only contain members hosted on the Hospitality Gateway.	No
Linked Suite Members
Member	System-generated, protected field. Indicates the number of each Member Suite within the Linked Suite.
Suite Directory Number	Enter a Suite Pilot number associated with the Member Suite. The number can part of a Multi-device Suite or a regular Suite.	Blank
Suite Comments	System-generated, protected field. Indicates the comments corresponding to the Member Suite, as entered in the Suites form.
Suite Name	System-generated, protected field. Indicates the name corresponding to the Suite Pilot number, as entered in the Telephone Directory form.
